The most common fraud types

Advance-fee scheme: you're asked to pay a 'security deposit' before you can start. Legitimate platforms never require this.

Off-platform contact: if someone immediately asks to move to WhatsApp or email, be cautious. On-platform communication protects both parties.

Recognizing identity fraud

New accounts with no reviews offering unusually high rates and demanding fast decisions are a red flag.

Always check the profile: when was it created? Is there a profile description? Are there reviews from other users?

What you should do

Report suspicious profiles immediately through the platform's support channel. The more reports a suspicious account receives, the faster it gets reviewed.

Never share personal data off-platform: no IBAN, no ID copies, no social security numbers.
